Machine throughput ranges from a few individual parts to thousands of parts per hour. Depending on the fragility of the items being cleaned, the process can be carried out using specially designed individual holders (including plastic ones), on conveyor belts, on overhead conveyors, or even as bulk material in baskets.

Yes, the process media can be heated using all standard methods, whether electrically, via a heat exchanger or directly using an integrated gas burner.

Yes, there are technical solutions for this too, which we can incorporate into our machines.

Cooling systems are available that use refrigerants with reduced GWP (e.g. R454B) as well as those that are completely free of F-gases (natural refrigerants such as propane R290 or carbon dioxide R744).

The process media are circulated in closed loops and, with appropriate maintenance and treatment, can be reused for up to several months. Oil separation, microfiltration or vacuum distillation systems are available as options for treatment.

Spraying, immersion, ultrasonic cleaning and flushing in a wide variety of machine designs. In addition to chamber systems, continuous-flow and intermittent-flow systems with up to seven treatment zones are also used for precision cleaning.

High flexibility in terms of component sizes and quantities, a combination of aqueous cleaning with ultrasonic, chamber and continuous flow technology, short changeover times and stable, reproducible production processes.

Cleaning is carried out exclusively using water-based solutions and suitable cleaning chemicals.

We clean everything from the smallest bulk materials (wire end ferrules, Ø 0.2 mm) to large components measuring, for example, 1.6 m x 1.5 m x 1 m. Closed systems that can be adapted for cleaning may be considerably larger.

We protect components susceptible to rust during the cleaning process right through to final packaging using an anti-corrosion film, which generally does not interfere with subsequent processing steps on the component. This means that welding, bonding, painting and coating can still be carried out. We are also happy to use alternative products at the customer’s request.

We package components in every conceivable way to meet our customers’ requirements. To this end, we can count, weigh or individually pack the goods into bags, seal them or vacuum-pack them. We use PE, PA, VCI, ESD or coated bags for this purpose. The final packaging in cardboard boxes, KLT containers or customised packaging, including VDA labels, acts as the outer layer to protect the goods.

It is particularly beneficial for parts with high cleanliness requirements: as they are vacuum-packed, the components do not rub against one another during transport or storage. This prevents recontamination caused by abrasion.

Of course. As well as component cleaning, we also offer lubricant coatings. These can be used to reduce friction coefficients in a targeted manner, improve assembly processes and optimally prepare components for the next stage of processing.

We inspect parts and components up to approximately 1.2 m × 1 m × 0.5 m in size.

The process begins with a representative sample of the part or component. In a rinsing station, the contaminant particles are rinsed off the sample using a test medium and collected on a filter. Once the filter has dried, the collected particles are counted under a microscope, measured and categorised as metallic, non-metallic and fibres. The results are summarised and documented in a report. For specific components and requirements, additional test methods are applied, such as vacuum extraction or SEM-EDX.

The throughput spectrum ranges from a few individual parts to thousands per hour. In addition to the standard TecSa (technical cleanliness test), methods for elemental and material analysis can be used, such as LIBS and SEM-EDX.

The ATP test is used to assess the cleanliness of surfaces, for example in the food and medical sectors, and is a common method for monitoring hygiene standards. To do this, swab samples are taken from surfaces using test swabs and analysed in the testing device. The result is the ATP (adenosine triphosphate) concentration, expressed in RLU (relative light units, which measure the amount of light produced during a chemical reaction). This value provides information about biological activity on the surface or potential contamination. The higher the measured value, the higher the level of contamination (bacterial load).

The testing method is quick and is therefore ideally suited to identifying potential sources of contamination. Measurements can be taken directly on the components in question; no time-consuming sample preparation is required. Multiple analyses make it possible to create depth profiles, for example to test coatings.

Unless otherwise specified in the relevant specifications, we recommend providing a total test area of at least 200 cm². Example: If a component has a surface area of 15 cm², this means you will need at least 14 components for one TecSa.

For certain processing steps, such as bonding, painting and coating, a clean and oil-free surface is an absolute prerequisite. One way of assessing cleanliness in this context is to carry out a residual oil measurement. This involves wetting the surface of the component with a special agent, which is then analysed using infrared spectroscopy. After use, the media should be treated. Oil separation, microfiltration or vacuum distillation systems are available for this purpose.

Industrial component cleaning involves removing swarf, particles, oils and other residues from the production processes of components. It ensures that components function reliably and that quality requirements are met.

In industrial manufacturing, organic solvents were previously often used for degreasing. For economic, environmental and health and safety reasons, multi-stage aqueous cleaning systems—consisting of cleaning, rinsing and drying—are now predominantly used.

Technical cleanliness refers to the defined, sufficiently low level of particulate (solid) and film-like (liquid/greasy) contaminants on components, such that their function and service life are not impaired. This does not refer to absolute purity, but rather to a level of cleanliness that ideally falls within specified limits and is still considered acceptable.
